Questions we get

How long until my venue is live?

Account creation takes minutes. Venue verification takes 24-48 hours (we confirm you actually run the place). Once verified, your events publish instantly.

Can I try before paying?

Yes. The Free tier doesn't expire and gives you 1 venue, published events, and a public page. If you want included boosts, the verified badge, and full branding, upgrade to Featured.

What happens if I cancel?

You drop back to Free. Your events and followers stay; your branding (color, badge, button) goes away. Resubscribe any time.

How does ticketing work on Pulse?

Two options, you pick per event. (1) Pulse-native ticketing — we process payment via Stripe, take 1-2% + $0.59 per ticket (1% at Iconic, 0.5% at Legend, 2% at Free + Featured), and hand you real-time sales data + a door scanner. (2) Bring your own — keep your existing platform (Eventbrite, Ticketmaster, your own site) and your "Get tickets" button routes there. Zero commission to Pulse on bring-your-own.

When do I get paid for ticket sales?

Payouts run on a 2-3 day rolling schedule through Stripe Connect, straight to your business bank account. You can refund any order from your workspace in two clicks; refunds come out of the next payout balance.

Is ticketing in addition to my subscription?

No — they're separate billing. Subscription tiers (Featured / Iconic / Legend) cover discovery, branding, and boost allowances. Ticketing fees (1-2% + $0.59 per ticket) only apply when you actually sell a ticket. The Free tier includes ticketing too — you're not locked behind a subscription to sell.

Does my data stay in Canada?

Yes. Hosted on Supabase Canada Central (Quebec), Law 25-compliant. See our Law 25 page for details.

Are you Montreal-only?

For now. Then Quebec, then the rest of Canada. If you're elsewhere and want us in your city, write.

Is there an API?

Yes, starting at the Iconic tier. To sync with your ticketing platform or your CRM.
