Buying tickets on Pulse Map.
Quick answers for buyers. Pre-launch, content is short — we'll expand each section as real questions land.
How do I buy a ticket?
Open the event in the Pulse app and tap Get Tickets. Native Pulse tickets check out in-app with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card. Affiliate tickets redirect you to the external platform (Eventbrite, Ticketmaster) where you complete the purchase.
Where's my ticket?
Open the Pulse app → Tickets tab → Your upcoming. The QR code is right there. You'll also receive an email confirmation with a backup QR.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — up to 48 hours before the event, you can self-serve a refund from the ticket detail screen. After that, contact support@pulsemap.ca. If the host cancels the event, full refunds are processed automatically within 15 days (Quebec law).
Can I transfer my ticket?
Free transfers (gifting) are supported on most events. Open your ticket → Transfer → enter the recipient's email or phone. The recipient accepts the transfer in the Pulse app or as a guest via email.
I bought via an external platform.
If you bought via Eventbrite, Ticketmaster, or another platform, your ticket lives there — not in Pulse. Check the email confirmation you received from that platform.
